This month we’re very proud and excited to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of McDonald’s legendary Big Mac!
And to commemorate this landmark birthday, we’ve gone big, working with Leo Burnett, Talon, Grand Visual and Fuse to make the campaign truly unmissable by transforming London’s IMAX into a giant Big Mac burger, IMAC. The spectacular IMAX display is powered by 48,000 LEDs of every possible colour to depict the bun, the burger and all the required garnishes.

McDonald’s is marking the occasion with the launch of two new sizes for a limited time – the Grand Big Mac and the Mac Junior.
To maximise reach across the UK we’ve used thirteen premium digital OOH sites to target consumers and created engagement online by utilising Snapchat filters which can be unlocked via snapcodes available on the packaging of the new Big Macs.
But it hasn’t stopped there, with well-known influencers such as Big Nasty, Lady Leshurr and reality stars Ollie Proudlock, Joey Essex and Chris Hughes battling it out in the ‘The Big Mac Tongue Twister’.
Happy Birthday Big Mac! Here’s to the next 50 years!
