What a night…What. A. Night. We are so proud to share the news that OMD UK won THREE Media Lions at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity yesterday evening, making us the (joint) second most awarded media agency in the world in the category and number one in the UK.
Our Humans campaign, where we turned the fictional Persona Synthetics brand from the show into a reality, promoting synths as real products available for purchase, won two Silver Lions – one in the Media and Publications category and another in Use of Integrated Media. Congrats to all our partners on this award – Fuse Sport + Entertainment, Microsoft, 4Creative and, most importantly, Channel 4.
We also won another trophy for another Channel 4 campaign – this time for Hunted, where we turned a new TV show into a personal, real life thriller by ‘hunting’ our audience through media. This won a Bronze award for Use of Ambient Media: Small Scale.
Facing a 267-strong shortlist, these awards are a phenomenal achievement. With so many people working on both of these campaigns, we couldn’t be prouder to bring these trophies home.
