The Future of Britain, as told by you

Our Future of Britain research project, kicked off earlier this year, has enjoyed a great run so far. With OMD UK providing fascinating insights, and our award-winning photographer Peter Dench providing the stunning images, this project is an eye-opening exposé of the myriad facets of British life, and the significant changes that it is going through.

Peter Dench, renowned for his reportage photography, was given the hefty challenge of creating a visual portrait of modern Britain to accompany our Future of Britain research.  We wanted to see the rich variety of the British people, their attitudes, lifestyles, relationships and interactions with the environment, technology, and see them at work and at leisure.  We wanted to capture the everyday moments that make up life in Britain today and share them on our Future of Britain blog – http://futureofbritain.com – adding to the rich insights we’re discovering through our research.

Peter has been busy touring the country, but with so much ‘Britishness’ to capture, we thought we’d give him a helping hand and call on the people of Britain – his potential subjects –  to give Peter suggestions of places and occasions in their own lives that he could come and photograph.

Most recently, Peter has been travelling Northwards to Berwick-upon-Tweed and Leeds, following the recommendations of those who used Twitter to let him know what’s happening near them.

There’s so much more to see, but luckily there’s also still plenty of time to add to our portrait of Great Britain. So, if you’d like to take part in our project and would be happy to appear on our blog, please Tweet Pete with your suggestion @peterdench and include #britfuture in your message.
