Leading The Drum’s search for the best

The shortlist for the inaugural Drum Search Awards has just been unveiled and we’re delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in three categories. This new event will recognise and reward the most innovative, creative and effective search campaigns and strategies across both PPC and SEO.

Our multi award-winning, world-first Royal Caribbean campaign, which saw us take Google Street View to a cruise ship for the first time, is up for SEO – Best Use of PR. Fresh off the back of success at the recent European Search Awards, we are hoping to add another trophy to our cabinet for this ground-breaking execution.

Our work with James Villas, where we delivered a comprehensive SEO strategy featuring a lot of creative thinking, complex technical optimisation and online PR, is up for SEO – Best Travel/Leisure/Sports Campaign.

Finally, Eurotunnel Le Shuttle is shortlisted for SEO – Best B2C Campaign. Our work saw us segment their customers to expose new audiences and better ways of targeting, which drove record-breaking sales.

It’s already been an amazing 2015 for OMD UK for awards. This fantastic news is another sign that we are helping our clients create memorable and innovative campaigns that are capturing people’s attention nationwide and beyond.
