At OMD UK we’re always focused on how the media landscape is changing; spotting shifts in behaviours, adoption of new technologies and the opportunities they present.
Last year, we decided to launch Innovation Week – a five-day series of talks and presentations from some of the biggest innovators in the world. The week was more successful than even we had imagined. It acted as a catalyst for new thinking, new approaches and helped us produce some ground-breaking work over the last 12 months.
Building on this success, we are delighted to bring Innovation Week back for its second incarnation – and this time, it will be even bigger and better. With a packed agenda, the event promises to inspire and inform in equal measure.
The week follows five themes over five days. Monday is all about brand storytelling and we have a number of companies, start-ups and speakers who will help us explore the new ways in which brands can bring their stories to life.
Tuesday focuses on how we can unlock the potential of big data in meaningful ways. Wednesday is all about the consumer technology our audiences are adopting and spending more and more time with.
On Thursday, we’ll be pushing the boundaries of what we should consider media as we look beyond media and on Friday we are looking at frontier thinking, hearing from psychologists, adventurers and even those who have shaken up the way the government works online.
We have curated five days of inspirational speakers and industry-leading panels; people who are shaping the future of our industry and beyond, changing the way we work and creating the tools and thinking that will set the agenda for the future.
We are also proud to welcome Techradar to Innovation Week as our first official media partner. You’ll be seeing them around the event and even hosting our keynote panel discussion on Wednesday, ‘Everything is connected so why aren’t we happy?’ where they will explore how we can get even more out of our gadgets.
From Monday to Wednesday we have teamed up with The Friday Club to bring their successful start-up sessions into the building where we can explore opportunities to work with some of the hottest start-ups around.
Make sure you follow the event on the OMD UK blog or on Twitter using the hashtag #IW2015.
