Last week , OMD UK welcomed WEVE to Minerva House for an agency takeover. Consisting of a series of sessions taking place over the course of Wednesday afternoon, the agency was shown around a variety of new products, case studies and some great displays of the power of mobile data.
In the first of these sessions, titled ‘WEVE, Present and Future’, Ben Maher (Agency Director at WEVE) spoke of the power of 1st-party operator data when matched with context and scale. We also heard how WEVE’s recently launched display proposition has already started to generate promising results, with unprecedented accuracy of data helping to inform some really efficient activity. Katie Batchelor and Luke Turner (OMD’s key sales reps at WEVE) also showcased the wider range of WEVE products, with a focus on messaging and how it can be strategically coupled with offline elements like Out Of Home media to maximise overall effectiveness.
The following two sessions saw a range of speakers including Nigel Kwan (Group Head of Marketing at WEVE) showcasing best practice creative examples and tips for amplifying wider media plans with mobile through strategic use of location and clever matching of data with demographic and behaviour targeting.
