This Week in Digital – 10th December 2012

What’s happened in digital this week:

What we have learned:

  • An updated Kleiner Perkins Internet Trends deck tells us that 4 out of the 5 most desired presents this Christmas for US kids are iOS devices, and much more besides.
  • Half the UK’s 16-24 year olds are now registered with Channel4’s on-demand service 4OD.
  • Mobile ads most effectively drive ad awareness and message association (versus other digital formats) from the Millward Brown Mobile Adreaction 2012 study.

Cool stuff:

  • New York Times’ Compendium is a Pinterest inspired styling of the newspaper.
  • Drawbrid.ge is a new service that matches users to devices allowing us to follow people across their digital lives in a non-privacy infringing way.
