We’re excited to launch the final stage of FAPZ – our campaign with Childline and MTV to empower young people to protect themselves against the potential negative impact of excessive exposure to porn.
12-15 year olds have lots of questions about porn, but they’re either too embarrassed to ask or have no one to talk to about this risky topic. Therefore, we wanted to create a platform in a 1-2-1 environment where our audience could go and get a first-hand account of the porn industry.
We set up a Q&A with a real UK pornstar and MTV’s host Becca Dudley to show the realities of porn and provide intelligent learnings from this trustworthy source. MTV is the pop cultural spotlight for fame, celebrity interviews, music and movies news for our target audience and so this environment was perfect for content discovery. To ensure this was truly authentic the questions were sourced by our youth audience and we even got the famous vlogger Ben Cook and a young person to represent the voice of our target audience.
