OMD UK scoops trophies at the DADIs and the UK Social Media Communications Awards

Following on from the news we’ve been shortlisted at the Masters of Marketing and Effective Mobile Marketing Awards, we are well and truly in awards season and last Thursday night was another great night for OMD UK. There were two awards shows taking place – the DADIs, The Drum’s specialist digital awards programme, and the UK Social Media Communications Awards.

We’re delighted to have walked away with one trophy and three commendations at the DADIs:

  • Our Royal Caribbean/Google Street View campaign, which allowed people to walk around the world’s largest passenger ship, won the Use of Organic Search (SEO) and was highly commended in the Travel/Leisure/Sports Website campaign
  • On top of that, our work for Channel 4’s Cucumber, Banana, Tofu (News/Media/Publishing Website campaign) and the amazing Citroen/ASOS (Automotive Website, App or Campaign), which saw the creation of the world’s first online car boutique and reinvented the car buying process for women, also received high commendations.

At the same time, we were winning even more trophies over at the UK Social Media Communications Awards. Walkers Tweet to Eat (Innovation) and NSPCC Flaw in the Law (Charity/Not for Profit Campaign) both won their categories.

Next up is the Media Week Awards on Thursday so we’re keeping everything crossed we can bring home even more trophies to add to the collection!
