Earlier this month OMD Portugal cheered up commuters with a less-than-ordinary journey into work. With innovation firmly at its heart, they made mornings something to look forward to whilst promoting the new McDonald’s breakfast.
Working with Fuse, they cranked up the noise at 8am and organised the earliest pop concert ever seen in Portugal, with over 40,000 free McDonald’s breakfasts distributed across the morning at the event and at various commuter spots! It was a huge success with commuters veering from their normal journeys and joining in the fun.
To further leverage the new breakfast, OMD Portugal created an innovative media solution by placing the first cover advert in the biggest online newsstand in Portugal. The advert was simple but brilliant, going on to be the star of the day at the ‘Digital Done Right’ Facebook page.
